Every year, millions of girls around the world are married as children. In fact, a girl is married every 2 seconds! In developing countries, 1 in 3 girls is married as a child. In Sub-Saharan Africa, the numbers are even more staggering, with up to 75% of girls in Niger and 68% of girls in Chad forced into marriage as children.

We can change this!

W4 is proud to partner with Girls Not Brides to support innovative grassroots projects in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa that are working to end child marriage through new technologies, women’s economic empowerment, legal support, and community mobilization.
